Yoga is the state you need nothing, you feel whole and complete
Through the daily
practice of asanas, breathing, meditation, and concentration it is possible to
obtain a better control of one’s own mind, which is of vital importance in
moments of tension, stress, or fear. As a result, one becomes more serene,
healthy, and aligned with one’s own personality benefitting not only one self
but also the universe.
Ever since I had
my first yoga lesson in 2004, my life has been gradually transformed into
something more meaningful and brighter. The years of continuous study,
practice, and teaching have given me an eclectic fun, flowing style where I choose
sequences that feel right for the people in the room.
Tai Chi Chuan is
an ancient exercise embodying the principles of health and movement. Based on
softness and awareness rather than force and resistance, Tai Chi has been
recognized for thousands of years for both its health benefits and its method
of self-cultivation.
Both classes are taught in College Station, and are
ideal for seniors and adults new to tai chi and yoga, those who seek to improve
physical balance, strength, and coordination. Tai chi is a very safe way to
relieve arthritis pain and to gain balance, strength, and flexibility http://www.webmd.com/pain-management/features/tai-chi-for-arthritis-relief. New research has shown
that Tai Chi may also improve symptoms of Parkinson’s disease http://www.webmd.com/parkinsons-disease/news/20120208/tai-chi-improves-symptoms-parkinsons-disease.
